My Windows 7 x86 host runs incredibly slow. On my host machine it causes the CPU to go over 100 percent often even when idling. I have researched this and found a few other people having the same problem but their fixes did not help me.
I have tried:
Dummy VM with 4mb ram running
Setting to 1 Core.
Lowering RAM to 2GB
Enabling PAE/NX
Disabling VT-x
Disabling Nested Paging
Rolling back to a 4.1.24 version. All no luck
Currently on version 10.8.2 of OSX and 4.2.6 of VB
8 GB Ram and Core i7 in my Macbook Pro, mid 2012 edition I believe
Thanks!
