Host Q and Host H

Having a problem with the Host-Q and Host-H key bindings. After using the command described in another thread , VirtualBox is no longer capturing the Host-Q and Host-h key strokes. Howevery, they aren't being passed on the the guest OS either... not quite sure how to fix this problem?
VBox 4.2.6 r82870
Guest = Arch Linux
Host = Mac OS Lion 10.7.5
