64 bit Win7 Host, 64 bit Linux Guest - Any issues?

Hey all,

As a VBox newbie, I don't quite understand whether there are any issues with 64 bit Linux Guest running on 64 bit Win7 Host.

Does the virtualization process imply any costs to the 32->64 bit translation process?

In other words, as much as I understand, VBox is a 32-bit process, and even if running on a real 64-Bit platform,

might slowdown the performance of a 64 bit Linux Guest, due to the memory structure difference,

even though the host and the guest are both 64 bit architecture.

Any thoughts, anyone?

Virtualbox comes in 32 and 64 bits executables, so if you have a 32 bits in a 64 bits OS, you installed the wrong one.
The windows installer comes packaged with both version, and choose at install time, depending on your CPU architecture. So unless you did something specific to install the 32 bits, you have a 64 bits.
