Dear Virtualbox Experts,
I am new to virtualbox. I have a fell r710 running windows server 2008 r2 enterprise. I have enabled virtualization technology and SR-IOV Global from the bios. Hyper-V runs without complaint on the server. However, I am trying to run the neurodebian 64 bit udbuntu virtualbox distribution, and get a VT-x error. When I go into settings the acceleration tab is grayed out. I tried doing a complete shutdown with delay prior to restarting power, but these problems persist.
Any suggestions on how to correct this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes,
Sal

VirtualBox cannot use hardware virtualization if you have Hyper-V enabled. Hyper-V will lock it as soon as you boot your system.
You will need to disable Hyper-V or set up a boot option to boot Windows without virtualization. There is an option in the Windows Boot Loader "hypervosorlaunchtype". Do a bcdedit /enum from a command prompt on the host to see the current setting.
