Create PDC on a Subnet

Hello Everyone!

What is the most efficient method to setup Virtualbox Guests on the same Subnet? I'm on 192.168.1 and I'd like to setup the guests on 192.168.2. I would ideally need internet connection as well. Any ideas?

Thanks!

The easiest and for most the best way to use and test Windows domains in VirtualBox
Setup Windows Domain in VirtualBox

Thanks. I am still stuck though, maybe I am reading the diagram the wrong way? My PDC sits on a debian VM and it has a NAT Interface and then I created a Windows Guest using the INET network interface, but I still can't ping my PDC Guest.

PDC Server is: 10.0.2.15 and i've manually set my win guest ip at 10.0.2.35.

You have two guests one is the server and one is the client. These two need to both be using the Internal mode and use a separate subnet from your host network.
Then if you want/need the Internet you add another guest set to use two NICs with one using the same internal network and the other set to use NAT.

You are saying that you have a PDC on a Debian host and your topic heading says you are using a Mac, are you using more than one host? If so this will not work at all, and you would need to stay on the local LAN. Keep in mind that with Windows this may create a condition resembling multi-homed and you would need to configure accordingly.

So what is the difference from an internal Network to a birdged network on a different subnet?
