Newbie Advice needed please

Hello,

Here is my scenario,

I have a PC (Win7) computer with Sage accounts and Act etc running on it,
I want to run the sage programs on my two macbooks that are on the same network, also over two locations via internet if this is possible?

I dont want to use internet login systems such as log me in etc as they are very very slow and glitchy.

Is this something that Virtual box can do? If so how?

Install VBOX on Mac and Win7 in VBOX.

And then its the same as on a real pc.
