Guest OS: Oracle Linux 5
Host OS: Windows 7 with VPN
Virtualbox: 4
I've been looking at several posts but no clear answer on how to proceed. I've a host Windows 7 OS that I connect to a corporate network with VPN wirelessly and can ping servers in the corporate network. I need to be able to access the same servers via my Linux guest. If possible, I'd prefer not to install VPN on the guest OS but rather share the host VPN. If I can get specific steps on how to proceed, that would be most appreciated.
Thanks,

Re: Linux Guest OS on Windows Host to share Windows VPN
VPN connections are point to point connections, not normal network connections. They normally cannot be shared.

Have you tried it?
Works for me "out of the box" - I can talk to anything the host can talk to - including the corporate network.
