Hello,
What do I have to do to get the usual dialog message "You have the Auto capture keyboard option turned on.... You can press the host key..." when pressing inside a virtual machine. I have set Auto Capture Keyboard set to enabled in the Input settings of the VirtualBox preferences, but the dialog refuses to show.
Thanks!
Mac OSX 10.6.8
Mac Pro 4.1
VirtualBox 4.2.1

This usually means that you dismissed the pop-up and checked to not warn you again. Click help at the top and then reset all warnings.

Re: Auto capture keyborad dialog is missing (sovled)
Got it. Meanwhile I removed the SuppressMessages setting from VirtualBox.xml file, but "Reset All Warnings" is obviously the way to do it. I just did not expect it under the Help menu. Many thanks, problem solved!

Btw, I think this setting should be in ~/Library/Preferences/org.virtualbox.app.VirtualBox.plist. So, when deleting the apps preferences, all settings will revert back to default, which has been Apple standard ever since.

Well apple is not the main OS for VirtualBox. From what I see it's supported just enough for it to work, most of the time.
You can of course put an enhancement in at bugtracker and see if they will consider it.
