Soft modems are not real com1 modems. They are crappy , needing driers and emulating com1. In VBOX you cant access PCI devices.

For what do you need the modem?

I have 16 GB ram memory
I would like to take advantage of my modem for communicating.
Install an ICR software and communicate taking advantage of my ram memory.

Is it possible ?

Best regards
