VBoxManage: error: Code NS_BASE_STREAM_WOULD_BLOCK (0x80470007) - Stream operation would block (extended info not available)
VBoxManage: error: Most likely, the VirtualBox COM server is not running or failed to start.
Is a list of "what"?
I didn't create any vm guests yet.
I can't run vbox itself.

It doesn't look like you have installed VirtualBox properly, at least not for this user.

1. Mounted VirtualBox-4.2.6-82870-OSX.dmg
2. Run and install VirtualBox.pkg
3. Run Vbox from Applications/
iron$ VBoxManage list
What do I not right?
vmware worked fine.

Just had remove any vbox' prefs from ~/Library/.
all're ok.
solved.
