1. Mounted VirtualBox-4.2.6-82870-OSX.dmg
2. Run and install VirtualBox.pkg
3. Run Vbox from Applications/

iron$ VBoxManage list

What do I not right?

vmware worked fine.

Just had remove any vbox' prefs from ~/Library/.
all're ok.
