Install VM's from USB
Most of the OS's I create Virtual Machines for are on USB. But when I try to install a new OS in VirtualBox, the only option it gives to boot from is the CD drive. Is it possible to boot from then install an OS from a USB drive?

Re: Install VM's from USB
'Fraid not. There is no support for USB in the VirtualBox BIOS, the only drivers are in the guest OS, hence USB cannot work before the guest OS has booted.
The best thing is an ISO image of the original OS setup CD. The ISO can be kept on (and mounted from) a USB drive if you like.

That is fine for Linux. But not workable for Windows guests.

Why do you say that? All of my Windows guests have been installed from ISO images of the setup CD/DVD. I encountered no problems doing so.
