Guest - over 2gb ram = crash

Post by sternfan »

Hi all,
I have a 64-bit system (NO VT however) with 8gb ram. When I try to make a VM with more than 2gb ram, vbox crashes. Is there any way around this issue?

Thanks,
Rob

If you mean, is there a way to launch a 64bit guest without VT-x, the answer is no. 2GB should be plenty for 32bit guests.
