I have a Norton Ghost Image of Windows XP (Copied from running Desktop) and want to insert as Virtual Machine (Guest OS).
Does any one know how to do that. The Image I have is on CD and I can create an ISO with the same. Though it will not be Bootable ISO otherwise.

Re: Windows XP Guest From Custom IMage
You would restore the image into a VM the same way you would restore onto any other PC. I.e. boot up Ghost and choose restore. The trick is getting access to the huge backup image when you don't have an installed OS yet (hence no GAs, hence no easy shared folders etc). There is a discussion thread here of ways around that. The discussion uses Acronis as an example, but applies just as well to Ghost.
