Hi all,
I usually install my virtual OS on VirtualBox because I like it copared to other VM programs, but now I have a problem.
I read around this forum that it is impossible run a VM inside another VM.
Ok.
But now I ask: there's some workaround for make Windows Phone Emulator works on VirtualBox? :D
Because now I'm using VMWare for working with that emulator but I will be a wonderful thing if I could work with WP7 Emulator in VirtualBox...

Any help?
Thank you

PS: I ask to some mod if can move this topic from Linux Guests to Linux Hosts

Not impossible, just not supported. If the WinPhone emulator requires VT-x (Hyper-V) then it can't be run inside a VBox VM AFAIK.

So, what do you suggest?

In my real Win XP partition WP7 emulator run anyway even if not supported officially.
I tried to install WP7 Emu both Virtual Box and VMWare Workstation on XP but it doesn't work.
Ok...I installed Win7 both VirtualBox and VMWare Workstation. Result? On VirtualBox Emu doesn't work, on VMWare it does.

I suggest: try it and see. Or read the docs for the Win7 emulator, see what it says about hardware requirements.

I've already tried to launch my VM with VT-x (I think) but nothing to do...
So I'm here to understand why on VMWare works and on VB it doesn't and it there's a workaraund, because the two vm are substantially the same

PS: sorry for my bad english, maybe something I can't understand but I'll try :)

VMware is written with a different code, use different algorithm and techniques on how to virtualize things. Just like Virtualbox is better at certain things, and can do things that VMware can't.
