Ubuntu 12.10 Guest additions messes up display
After installing guest additions (version 4.2.6, version 4.2.4 didn't have this problem), my display looks like this:
With no applications open: With the file browser open: After opening the dash menu and closing it: This happens on both my iMac and MacBook Pro, both of which are running OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion.
Is there a fix for this?

looks exactly like mine. so far, no fix.
