Unable to Create vmdks for real partitions
Posted: 22. Jan 2013, 05:59
Hi,
I am trying to create a vmdk for one of my disk partitions.
I am using Windows 7 and version 4.2.6 of VirtualBox.
When i typed
vboxmanage internalcommands listpartitions -rawdisk \\.\
the sizes of the partitions did not match the sizes that show up in the Disk Management.
I have four partitions, two are recovery partitions, these showed up correctly, one of the other ones showed up as 0 and one showed up about 100 GB too big.
Then I tried creating the VMDKs anyway and access was denied even when I tried again as admin.
