hey all,
i need to run a ubuntu machine in virtualbox .. i have tried a few and all are BLOATED ( even tried minimal install which is funny they call it "minimal" )
anyhow ..i found an image i can use ..linux remix cd ..used about 200MB ..
i converted it to vdi and i got it booted and working good in virtualbox ..but ran out of space when i tried to install my programs ..
so i created a virtualbox disk , made ext3 on it and mounted it ..all good .. except i cannot boot from the new disk ( after dd'ing the old disk to new )
but my questions is ..
can i do this ? create a disk , copy mbr etc from the original disk and boot it ?
Please help if you can.
thanx all

There are no tools in VirtualBox to help you do that, if that was your question.
