hi, I am a VB and Linux noob. I am using a old laptop with XP, 512 Ram, 1.3 GhZ AMD processor but when i try to load (ubuntu or minit ISO) i get the error.
I have attached the log and Pnf file so that some intelligent being can help me out.

You may have other problems, but you will struggle to run a modern OS on such a limited host. In particular you can't assign more RAM to the VM than is available on your host (between simulated RAM and simulated graphics RAM you are assigning 280MB + sundries to the VM, which is more than your host has available).VBox.log wrote: 00:00:04.485219 Host RAM: 478MB total, 262MB available
