Virtualbox does not boot

Hello,

I have a PC with several hard drive.
Win7-64 bit ultimate is installed on one hard drive and Win8-64bit professionnal is installed on another hard drive.

I've installed the latest version of Virtualbox on Win8.
I've created a virtual machine and installed Linux Mint-Mate 13 in it.

When the virtual machine boot, it display the selection screen installed by Mint13.
As soon as I select Linux Mint, VB display a black box with a white cursor in it ("-") and than freeze in that state.
I've tried to install Mint 14 and Ubuntu and get the same problem.

Strangely, sometime, randomly and very seldomly, it works (Linux start and I can use it).

I'don't experience the same problem with Win7 on the same machine. Under Win7, it always works perfectly.

I annex to this message the log file I get under Win8 host.

What is going wrong with Win8 and VB?

Thanks.

Nothing shows up in the log.
Could you attach as zip your .vbox file, located in the VM folder?

Also, do you have Hyper-V installed and/or enbaled?

I have attached the request file.

Hyper-V is not enable.
I presume it is not installed, as it is not listed in the installed software and it is not enabled in the Windows functionalities.

I also add a print screen of the information generated when Mint13 during the boot process in recovery mode.
VB freeze always at the same point in the boot process.

Try to disable the USB setting, if that's where it's stuck
