VirtualBox internal network question

Hello everyone,
I have problems connecting a client computer to a server on the Oracle VirtualBox. Both machines can ping each other. I have windows 7 pro SP1 64-bit installed on my laptop as a Host. I installed Oracle VirtualBox as guest and wanted to create a virtual client server network. I have a wireless Router. As I have very basic knowledge of networking and I would like to create client server network.
I installed 2 virtual machines on Oracle VirtualBOx, one is windows server 2008 and another is windows 7. Both virtual machines have the first adapters set to NAT
and the second apapters are set to Bridge network.
I installed Actice Directory and Domain Services on windows server 2008. I tried adding windows 7 to the domain but unsuccessful.
I have no Idea how to configure the domain server for static ip on wireless Router to create a client server network on the VirtualBox.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you.
