Enable VT-x Acer

Post by Pão Man »

Hello, I have an Acer notebook model V5 171 6878 which has limited the BIOS that does not let me enable VT-X Core I3 my, how do I turn now?

I contacted support and they said that would not be possible due to limited BIOS, that in Brazil. When trying to support American said it could not pass the BIOS, because my model was registered in Brazil.

How to proceed now?

Sorry for my english

Intel processors are designed such that if VT-x is locked by firmware (BIOS), no OS or application software can unlock it. So if your system locks VT-x and doesn't allow you to change it, that's how it is. Unfortunately for you, only your system manufacturer can help you. If they can't/won't... no one can.
