'Could not read from boot medium' after shutting down

Post by Darkest_97 »

I've installed linux mint from a .iso located on my hard drive. It works fine and boots up the first time no problem.
If I stop it by doing Save State or Power Off it works fine. But if I choose Send Shutdown Signal, the next time I run it I get the error and can't fix it.

I'm just figuring this out for the first time so sorry that I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing.

Sorry about that. I found out I had to actually go and install linux after I ran it from the iso. Just me not knowing what I'm doing.

So you can lock/delete this or whatever thanks.

Thanks for posting back the resolution. That was the only reason I could think of for the problem you had.
