I plan to reinstall Windows Installer Windows Seven or eight.

My virtual machines are on another disk.

I would like to know how to reopen my VMs after reinstalling Windows and VirtualBox (version 4.2.6.82870)?

Make sure to back up your entire "VirtualBox VMs" folder (or whatever it is called in your language). Then just install VirtualBox on the new host, and use the Machine|Add... menu item to add back each VMs .vbox file.
