I have the latest virtual box (4.2.xx) running on a Win 2008 Server host with a Win 7 guest. I can start it headless using VboxManage and access it with remote desktop connection. However when I logout from the host, Vbox shuts down so I need to run it as a service.
I looked at VBoxVmService, but there is not mention of Windows 2008 Server. Is that the best one to use or are there other (prefer free) tools to run Virtualbox as a service.
Thanks
Run VBox as service on Win 2008 Server host

This maybe the wrong place to ask but is there a way to auto log into windows then run vbox and then AUTO LOCK. That would serve my purpose as well.
