Phpvirtuabox a project that asks for help

Post by stephdl »

I was saddened by the message of the program manager on the google page of the website.

http://code.google.com/p/phpvirtualbox/

this man is calling for help for the project to be taken over by someone or also to create a community around it.
Phpvirtualbox is completely indispensable, since it is part of my full post-installation procedures.

What do you think of this then!!
My marriage is falling apart. I no longer have the capacity to support a full time job, a family, and this project. I'm looking for someone to take over phpVirtualBox.
It happened to me several times to give some money to the developer through paypal .... this is my personal way to help the project since I am not developer.

obviously this is not enough.

phpVirtualbox is a huge project, which requires a lot of time and a lot of effort to be taken on, and to maintain, support and improve.
I also use it and I am sadden by the turn of event, and the developper has my full support and I wish him the best.

My thoughts are that I hope someone will take over, but that might not happen sadly.

It is also the back of my mind, as a project supported by a single person can sink very easily. We see the funding limits of free software and the official recognition of the work of the developer.
I do not know how to develop its work on phpvirtualbox was able to report anything other than shit and lost time on the project .... few people use paypal donations.
When you see the amount of work, it must be hard to drop everything, but it is a sad reality.
