SCreenshots on VirtualBox 4.2.6
I am running VirtualBox 4.2.6 and I was trying to take screenshots of Windows 2012 during installation but when the File Save dialog box opened, the keyboard would not accept any keystrokes so I could not change the file name and save the screenshot. Help, any ideas how to fix this?

Did you release the keyboard from the guest before trying to take a screenshot? The integration might not be the best yet for Windows 2012, so the keyboard would still need to be release by pressing the host button (the ctrl key on the right of the keyboard by default).

Re: SCreenshots on VirtualBox 4.2.6
I've just experienced the bug for the first time (my first screenshots!). It looks like a bug to me. When I click on the menu, the indicator icon changes to "not captured" but as soon as the dialog box appears, the keyboard is switched back to "captured" and only the mouse works on the dialog box. After reading this thread I figured I only have to tap Host to uncapture the keyboard again... bummer!

Solved.
Yes, pressing the Ctrl key seems to have released the keyboard to allow me to enter a filename. Would be nice to do this automatically..
