Bom dia,
Meu sistema operacional é Windows 8 64 bits e minha versão do virtual box é a 4.2.6

Dear Stefan (or any one that can help):I am almost loosing my tempers with Virtual Box (Version 4.2.18) . I have a Windows 8 installed in my computer and I just can´t install Virtual Box (I want to use some programs I´ve developed with Delphi that are facing some conflicts with Windows 8 and I want them to run with Windows Xp where they run very well). I have read all tips about it in the web but they did not work with me. When I ask to create the virtual machine It continues to show the message no bootable media found.I am using an iso file of Windows Xp CD. Does not Virtual box run in Windows 8?
Thanks for any kind of help

Have you assigned the .iso file to the vm? Is the vm set to boot from the CD/DVD?

If the vm is set to boot from DVD and the .iso file is assigned to the vm (and the .iso file has been created properly as bootable) it will work.

Dear Stefan;thanks from the answer. For your questions:
Have you assigned the .iso file to the vm? Is the vm set to boot from the CD/DVD?
Yes for tyhe first part of af the question. For the second part where do I inform to boot from the CD?
If the vm is set to boot from DVD and the .iso file is assigned to the vm (and the .iso file has been created properly as bootable) it will work.
I downloaded the iso file from Internet. How do I know if it is created as bootable? Maybe this is the reason of the problem.
