Sorry for the newbie question, but I am not sure what the correct steps are to upgrade VB from 4.2.0 to 4.2.6.

I am running Win7 Pro x64 as a Host, and Oracle Linux x64 as my only guest.

What do I need to do to get to 4.2.6 without losing anything regarding my Linux VM?

Nothing special needs to be done, upgrade wise, simply run the installer and your VMs will automatically be available to you.
Be sure you upgrade the additions in your VM too, if you installed them.
