Issues With Mouse

Post by shellp55 »

Hello

I just upgraded to version 4.2.6. I am running Windows XP on the my VM.

I was having issues with VM not recognizing my iPhone (which was in recovery mode) but found that I had to add it in the USB area and also added a "blank" New Filter 1. VM then recognized the phone but then something odd happened in that the mouse would only work inside the VM. I couldn't use it to scroll the box outside the VM. Using Ctrl Alt Delete accessed the host computer but I couldn't shut down VM so had to hard boot my system.

Why would it be doing this? Thanks.

If you add a blank usb filter, it means EVERY usb device will be grabbed and locked into the guest, including your mouse which I guess is USB.
Remove the blank filter and set an appropriate one for your Iphone.
