Can't connect to Plesk of CentOS Guest

Post by DuckDagobert »

Hey guys,

I just installed a CentOS 6.3 VM with VIrtualbox (bridged network) and then added the Plesk Panel 11 to it - installation went fine.
Now I wanted to connect from my hosts OS (Win 7 Prof x64, Firefox) to the guests Plesk Panel using the guests IP (http://192.168.2.116:8443) - unluckily it does not connect but I get an error: network timeout.
When pinging the guests IP, everything is ok. When using puttytel telneting the guest OS on port 8443 the telnet window pops up without problem.

What is the problem/how can I solve the problem, so that I can reach my guest OS plesk panel?
Thanks a lot for your help in advance!!

Since you have established that communications is working from the host to the guest I think you would need to ask parallels about the problem.
