Hi,

I use an application that can only use one core. I want to improve the performance by creating a larger CPU.

Is it possible to have 1 huge virtual CPU from many physical cores ?
(e.g. 1 virtual core of 8.8 Ghz with 4 physical core of 2.2 Ghz)

does it already exist ?

Thanks for your helps ! :D

Laurenzzo.

No, VirtualBox doesn't support anything like that.

Since it isn't possible to do, no I dont think there's much point in suggesting it. VirtualBox exposes the actual CPU to the guest, VBox is not a CPU simulator, so the CPU capabilities are what they are.

There is no known way of implement this, so unless you can suggest how exactly to do it, there's no point.
