So I'm running Vista 64 Ultimate and want to install virtualbox in order to run a few simple applications that won't work in 64-bit mode. So I installed virtualbox, created a virtual harddrive and followed all instructions and suggestions accordingly, but when it's finally time to start virtualbox, I get this error message:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Windows XP
PIIX3 cannot attach drive to the Secondary Master (VERR_UNRESOLVED ERROR).

Details:
Result Code:
E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component:
Console
Interface:
IConsole {db7ab4ca-2a3f-4183-9243-c1208da92392}

Please someone tell me what to do in order to get this working?

By the way, it was a Windows XP configuration I was trying to run, in case you need to know to understand why the error occured.

Hi! Thanks for replying. I managed however to solve it myself. All I had to do was rebooting the computer. Sorry for not trying that first.
