Defered or no visual response on Fedora 17 (64 bit) Guest

Post by Ombudsman »

I have Windows 7(64 bit) Host Machine
I have installed Fedora 17 Guest Installation on VB 4.2.4.
I have installed Guest Additions and the GUI looks fine and am able to run in seamless mode.

The visual response of activity on top ribbon in fc 17 is fine but on rest of the applications, it is not updated until I click something on the ribbon.
Even the strings on terminal do not update until I click something on the top ribbon.

I need some help in fixing this issue on my end
Thanks in Advance

Not sure there is any help for this. Neither scale mode nor seamless mode work correctly with guests using OpenGL 3D
features (such as with compiz-enabled window managers), is a known issue. See chapter 14.2 in your VirtualBox users guide.

Hi thankyou for your reply :)

I do not have "compiz-enabled window managers" enabled

Thank You! Disabling 3D acceleration did the trick! :)
BTW My Desktop is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit.
