Running VBox (Win7) from USB 3

Hello

Is it possible to run a vbox (Win7) from a USB 3.0 stick? (speed ..)
My host is a MacBook Air 11".

No and Yes.

Not directly, but you can copy the vdi file (the virtual disc image) to the USB stick.

That has nothing to do with VBOX. I think yes.

It all depends on your USB stick, USB 3.0 only give you a maximum theorical speed limit.
The only way to know if it is fast enough is to try. Each model would have a different speed.
