I have read the article on how to setup a VM using raw disks with arc path, so the drives don't switch on reboot (as windows has the nasty habit of doing...) I have successfully done this once with two drives.
I am now creating another VM with 3 new hard drives and only one of them is showing up under winobj. They are showing up fine in computer management and can be formatted/mounted by the host OS. I can see them under device along with their partitions, but under ArcName, they aren't there. I have tried many things, changing SATA ports, making sure Windows can see it fine, rebooting, activating/taking the drives offline, with the only result of frustration. Any ideas on what I can try next?

Re: ArcName not showing all drives
You would have to explain further why you would ever expect simulated drives to show as actual drives on your host. Or clarify why that isn't what you meant.
Re: ArcName not showing all drives
I am using raw disks, not virtual disk images. If I use the PhysicalDisk path, Windows 7 moves these around, causing the link to be wrong if I add or remove a hard drive on the system (perhaps even at random on boot as well.) To get around this, I need to use the arcpath, which stays the same no matter what I plug in/remove. The physical drives are showing up on the host but not in winobj as arcname...
I have updated my original post with a link on what I am talking about.

Re: ArcName not showing all drives
I would think the proper place to get help for this would be Microsoft, or the person that posted the tutorial. The physical drives are showing up on the host but not in winobj as arcname...
