Hi all,
I'm trying to get some "hands on" for EFI boot.
I have VirtualBox 4.2.4 running on an Linux Mint host (64 bits)
I have setup a VM with the EFI flag, installed an Ubuntu server 64 bit inside, no problems.
Now the problem is that at every boot of the VM, the guest OS does not boot, but the EFI shell is presented.
I only need to type "fs0:\EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi" and the guest starts normally.
My question is how to configure VB so the EFI boots automatically a default OS?
Regards, Jacques-D.
Setting EFI boot default
Re: Setting EFI boot default
Hi all,
Seems to be a known bug of VB, see Virtualbox ticket # 11177
I hope to get a correction in the next release...
