Dualbooting Windows 7 -> VM Windows 7

Post by rbledso1 »

So I got a copy of Windows 7 from my school and dual booted in on my MacBook Pro. I didn't know about this software before hand. Is there any way to make the VM access the dual boot side? Or do I need to erase the dual boot and then get the CD again and install it again on VM?

Thanks,
Rylan

There's a discussion of this in the HOWTO area (Windows Guests). IMHO you'd be better off deleting the dual boot and creating the VM from scratch - it doesn't sound like you've invested a lot of time in the existing installation. If I'm wrong about that then another possibility is a P2V.
