Winamp GUI issue under WinXP guest in seamless mode
You can see the issue. In seamless mode, parts of the underlying Windows desktop are showing to the side and bottom of Winamp. If I drag Winamp up, I see more of the hidden desktop underneath. Any idea what's causing this? Is it that custom Winamp interface that's doing it? I also get the Windows taskbar down there, which is currently on autohide; that's why it appears only as a line.

Can you try with the default skin?

Best guess is that WinAmp has got a custom windows gadget renderer to give it that skin (gadgets meaning borders, caption bars etc). The base layer would be a plain rectangular window of the size you see, drawing bits of it, and passing drawing requests through to the desktop for bits of the window it doesn't paint. Whatever the trick is, it doesn't seem to like VirtualBox's transparent desktop.
