Continuous permissions problems

I keep having permission problems on OSX Snow Leopard, using the latest version of VB to run a fully updated Windows XP.
Every time I have to fix the permissions using Disk Utility, but the problem keeps coming back. Does anyone know how to fix that more permanently? What causes these permissions to change?

I think that the error is VERR_SUPLIB_WORLD_WRITABLE or something amongst these lines.

Well, find out what the error actually is, then try searching for it on these forums using Google. E.g. search for "VERR_SUPLIB_WORLD_WRITABLE site:forums.virtualbox.org".
