Take a screenshot function not working

I am using Virtual Box 4.2.4 on Windows 7 x64. I tried taking some screen shots of a virtual machine window using the 'Machine -> Take a screenshot' feature and the screenshot was never saved to the folder at allow. Using PrtScn or Alt+PRtScn does not work either. Any ideas why?

I have solved this issue, you need to enter the file extension as well to the filename (it is not added by default) and it saves ok.
