I'm wanting to get a new Lenovo with a touch screen. I'm primarily a linux user and am curious if there are touch screen support plans in the near future planned?
TIA
Touch Screen Support
Re: Touch Screen Support
We could separate this question into three parts: (even after such a long time)
1) Does the VirtualBox program on the host work with a touchscreen?
Answer: yes it does. Next.
2) Can guests have a virtual touchscreen through emulation by mouse/trackpad?
Answer: I don't see any option for that. There's emulation of USB tablets, but I think this refers to Wacom-style digitizers.
3) Can touches from the host touchscreen be passed through to a guest?
Answer: yes, but they will become simple mouse clicks (essentially emulating a mouse using a touchscreen), unless [2] is implemented.
So, can we please have the second one?

OSX, Linux and Windows Hosts & Guests
There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.
