Control guests automatically

Hi!

I use Vbox ver. 4.2.4, host - Win7 x64, 5 VMs guests - Win XP x32.

I'm looking for solution - how to control state of guest automatically? If guest is down and hanged I need to shutdown it and then start again. I found some info about "Host isolation detection" but dont understand how to configure and use it practically in Win7 host ?
