Mouse button problem

Hi,
I bought a very nice mouse with programmable buttons for creating objects with Pro/Engineer.
Unfortunately I can work with the mouse well BUT the software from the mouse manufacturer does not detect the mouse for setting details as macros and button behavior.
See screenshots attached (unfortunately in German)
picture 1 -> no mouse detected ("Mouse Editor" software from the manufacturer)
Is there any possibility to rout the mouse correctly so that the mouse will be detected correctly and can set the buttons?

Virtualbox 4.2.4 (latest) + installed guest additions
guest: Win7
Mouse: Sharkroom Fireglider black
