I am using a Windows 7 host, Ubuntu 12.04 (Mint) guest. It is working well, but I want to give the Ubuntu guest more RAM. I have 4 GB total, and want to give it 2 GB. (It is the only guest I anticipate.)
The controls on all the setting windows are disabled, so I can only see what is currently set and cannot make changes.
I'm just a week into virtualbox, so I imagine it is something simple.

Re: Unable to change settings
You have to shut down the VM (not suspend) before you can make important changes to the VM recipe.
