Windows could not search for new updates!? ERROR 80072F8F

Ive installed Win 7 x64 on VirtualBox and tried to update it and this is what I get:

A image you cant see because I cant post ...

You can attach images. It's only offsite URLs which you can't post.

Also, Microsoft have their own support staff for MS Windows. We typically will be uninterested in guest application crashes unless you can suggest a credible reason why VirtualBox is the cause.

Same Win7 on my pc and VM... One that is on PC works perfectly... the same on VM doesnt...

I have but nothing... that was the first thing, but google didnt help so i posted it here....

What if Windows cant update it because its doesnt have a source? Because its virtual!

Can the guest get to the Internet? If it can then the issue is something in the Windows guest. There are various things that can cause this including a corrupt store or update database. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509997
