Trying to sample some Linux distros by using VirtualBox to VM them. Anyway, I keep getting that "Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager has stopped working" and an error. Anyone that can tell what is going on, would you please help? :)

The Error

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu 12.10.

No error info.

Result Code: RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE 0x800706BA (0x800706BA)
Component: ProgressProxy
Interface: IProgress {c20238e4-3221-4d3f-8891-81ce92d9f913}

A picture of my VM list follows as an attachment. Mint isn't connected to an ISO yet.

Specs:
3GB Ram (3GB Memory, however you want to say it)
AMD E350
AMD Radeon HD 6310 (Graphics Card)
500GB HDD

Can anyone help?

Thank you ahead of time,
Miningdude

This is usually caused by a Windows dcom error. Try installing VirtualBox again and see it it will fix your issue.

It would also help to know what you did before this error started that would have caused this to start. Did you have a crash, or were there updates, Etc.

Thank you for replying, sir.

Before I installed VBox, I have had to force shutdown my computer (*Sighs* IK that is bad to do,) and have had a BSoD.

I recently reformatted, so I am still trying to catch everything back up to speed...

I will reinstall Virtualbox, thank you.
