PXE problem with WDS

Post by aistratiy »

Good day! I have two virtual machines on my Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 host with Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 guest in first VM. VBox version is 4.2.4 r81684. First machine has DHCP, DNS, AD, NAT and WDS roles. I try to install Windows through internal vbox network with PXE but I have an error message. I attached screenshot with error message. Guest additions installed on the first machine.

It's all in the screenshot : you didn't configure your PXE settings correctly, you tell to get an image on some http server, which won't work since the PXE boot expect something else...
This is an issue with your PXE config, not with virtualbox.
