Hi,
I have one virtual machine with XP and my phisical machine with OSX LEOPARD.
I would share my firewire port with XP machine.
How can I do it?
Is it possible?
Thanks a lot.

Re: leopard host and xp virtual....firewire port
You can't. The VM does not have a firewire port. VMs are simulated PCs. The hardware of the host is not relevant, provided it is up to the task of supporting the simulation.

I would use my firewire devices with my virtualmachines...
Sure it is not possible?
With usb devices is possible.

Re: leopard host and xp virtual....firewire port
If I was unsure about my answer then I would have said so.
Yes, the VM can talk to USB devices. Ditto serial port, LPT devices, DVD drives. It even can access real disk drives in raw mode. In each case that is because the VM implements a corresponding virtual device which is implemented using host resources. The VM has no virtual Firewire port.
