VirtualBox crash when running system rating

Hi,

I've search this forum and other resources on the internet but still couldn't find and answer. I saw several post that those crashes were resolved in previous versions, but for me they still don't work.

While running the Windows 7 system rating on Virtualbox 4.2.4 the application crash.
My Configuration:
Asus P8H61-M LX
Intel Core I5-3470
Intel HD2500
8 GB Kingston

OS Host - Windows 7 SP1 64 bit
OS Virtual - Windows 7 SP1 32/64 bit

Help with what? Do you mean that VirtualBox crashed? If so please provide crash details. If you mean that the application running inside the guest crashed - but the VM kept running - then you should contact whoever wrote that application, or provide better evidence that VirtualBox is at fault.

More details of host and guest wouldn't go amiss either, such as amount of RAM allocated to guest, and whether the GAs are installed, whether 2D and 3D video acceleration is enabled etc.

Guest Addition 4.2.4r81684 is installed.
The amount of memory allocated to the client is 2048MB.
The amount of video memory allocated to the client is 256MB.
I've allocated 1 CPU for the client.
VT-x and Nested Paging are enabled.

It happens when the 2D and 3D accelerations are activated (when the 3D is not activated the Microsoft system rating works fine, but obviously gives a rating of '1' which doesn't allow me to run some applications)

I'm attaching the VBox.log file.

Please let me know what other information you require.

Ok, so it's a crash in the OpenGL interface. You can try updating the hosts graphics drivers. You can also try post a bugtracker ticket about it, providing enough details to allow the problem to be duplicated. But, the 3D support is listed as "experimental", so I can't promise that the fix will be a high priority.
